Step by Step: Your First Session
1. Consultation
We'll discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and goals. I'll examine your skin and determine the right needle depth and technique for your needs.
2. Numbing
A topical numbing cream is applied and left for 20-30 minutes. By the time we start, most clients feel little more than a slight vibrating sensation.
3. Treatment
I'll work across the treatment area using the microneedling device. The whole process takes around 30-40 minutes depending on the area. You might feel mild pressure but it shouldn't be painful.
4. Recovery Serum
A calming, hydrating serum is applied immediately after to soothe the skin and support healing. Your skin will be slightly pink — like a mild sunburn.
Aftercare & Downtime
Expect redness for 24-48 hours. Avoid active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, vitamin C) for 3-5 days. Wear SPF 50 daily. No makeup for 24 hours. Your skin will feel smoother within a week, but the real collagen-building results develop over 4-6 weeks.
